District Boundaries

The Hermiston School District encompasses over 160 square miles covering the city of Hermiston and surrounding areas. Every K-12 student living within Hermiston School District boundaries attends a school based on their home address. Use the resources provided below to determine your child’s school and transportation options/bus routes.

Middle School Boundaries

Students living in the Desert View, Rocky Heights, and West Park Elementary School boundaries will attend Armand Larive Middle School. Students living in the Highland Hills, Loma Vista, and Sunset Elementary School boundaries will attend Sandstone Middle School.
 

Transfer Requests

Parents of Hermiston students can submit a request to transfer to a school that is not in their attendance boundary. Please see our student transfers page for more information.
