Human Resources

Mission:

The human resources department is committed to serving the needs of the licensed, classified, administrative, and confidential/exempt employees who work for the Hermiston School District.  Currently we employ approximately 260 licensed teachers, 170 classified staff, 15 administrators and 18 contracted and confidential staff,  It is our mission to provide all of our employees with the assistance and support necessary to ensure the best possible learning experiences for our students.

Attention All Substitutes

 On May 15th will be receiving an electronic notification (email) from Aesop in regards to the 2013-14 school year and your intent to return as a substitute for the Hermiston School District. If you do not receive an email notice, please contact Lisa Lohman at Lisa.Lohman@hermiston.k12.or.us.

It is IMPORTANT to respond to this notice so that we may keep our sub list current for the upcoming school year. You will need to print off the Intent to Return notice, check whether or not you plan to return (Accept or Reject) for the 2013-2014 school year and then scan/email or mail it to us by the date indicated on the notice keeping a copy for your records.
