Hermiston School District schools are preparing to assist parents with on-line registration/renewal of information, weekdays from July 30-August 10. Elementary and middle schools will have staff and computers available, from 8:00-11:30 a.m. and 12:30-3:00 p.m. Hermiston High School parents and students may drop in August 13-17, from 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. to register and pay applicable student fees.
Students returning to Hermiston schools will receive a letter in the mail, which includes a snapcode specific to the student. Utilizing the snapcode, parents can login to the student’s account by visiting http://www.hermiston.k12.or.us/apps/pages/registration/ to update physical/mailing address, emergency contact information, etc.
Kindergarten and new students need to visit the website above to begin the registration process, but must follow up with a visit to the school, in order to submit a record of their birth, proof of residence/physical address, health record, previous report cards or transcripts. If there are legal documents (e.g. custody) pertaining to the student, the parent/guardian should provide a copy to the school.
HSD Open Houses will take place on Thursday, August 23. Elementary schools will be open from 5:30-6:30 p.m.; middle schools from 6:30-7:30 p.m.; and the high school from 7:00-8:30 p.m. Parents are encouraged to meet all the partners in their child’s educational journey.
